There were 2 wars, first Serbian agression and after that there was a war between Croatians and Muslims. That second war had it's worst phase in Mostar. This phase divided the city in West and East Mostar, where the West became Croatian and the East became Muslim. The stadium 'Bijeli Brijeg' is in the West part of city.
