At the start of the 2004/2005 season Olympiakos moved to a new stadium while PAOK plays their matches at Toumba Stadium, which is one of the most classic stadiums in Greece. Toumba Stadium is also called 'Temple' or 'Temple of Hell'. The stadium has been banned several times because of riots and violent incidents.

Other : The stadium was rebuilt for the 2004 Olympics. From 1895 the stadium was known as "Velodrome" and was used for cycling races mostly. From 1964 it is known as "Karaiskaki Stadium", named after the Greek hero who lived during the revolution against the Turks.
