Untill 1991 the derby was played at Plovdiv City Stadium or the so called 'Big House' (50.000). The Lokomotiv fans occupied 'the North' and the Botev fans were in 'the South' of the stadium.

Other : The stadium was renovated in 1961. Originally the stadium was named 'The College' and now it is still known by this name among the fans. The reason for this is that in the early 1900's the pitch was owned by the Catholic College.
